We often say that our strength here at Manu Ora is the sheer amazingness of the whole team, working together for our whānau (patients) and community.
Today we are absolutely over the moon to have two of our kaimahi receive awards at the Top of the South “Allied Health Scientific & Technical (AHST) Awards Ceremony” for 2025!

Heartfelt congrats to our very own…
- Mikayla Charlton – who won the “Emerging Practitioner” award for her stellar work as our Kaiāwhina Haumanu Hauora (Healthcare Assistant)
- Shianne Casey – who was recognised in the ‘Mana Taurite’ (equity) category for her amazing work providing improved health outcomes for Māori, upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi and promoting inclusivity and cultural safety for all.
Beautiful to see these fabulous wāhine receiving such richly deserved recognition – ka rawe!
